Pros

Get your foot in the door in the IT world! EasyIT well give you plenty of opportunity to learn and help you grow professionally. They use the latest technologies/tools with their clients and with the rapidly changing world of IT, you will always be learning something new. They have brought people on with little to no professional IT experience and middle/senior techs do their best to help others succeed. Coworkers were lively and fun when I was there and you can ask anyone a question with no retaliation/belittlement. Their new office is also really nice and in-office amenities are a nice touch. If you are willing to hit the ground running, you enjoy constantly doing something, and you can multitask, this is a great place to start your career. The core tech team that has been there for more than 2 years are amazing and I can't recommend them enough!

Cons

-First con is pay. Entry pay is low and getting to a sustainable wage will take years. Benefits are quite lacking compared to other opportunities. -Second con is growth. When I started, EasyIT was bringing on a steady pace of new clients and workload wasn't outlandish as it was when I left. At the end of my employment, it felt like everyone was behind with no end in sight. Turnover was surprisingly high when they were trying to fill tech positions to remedy this problem. -Third con is work/life balance. In relation to the high growth, middle/senior techs are constantly working well outside of the 40/hour work week (not forced but they feel obligated to stay afloat). Some have been doing it for years and feel that it is part of the job but I don't feel compensation is enough to justify the extra work put in. Don't let them fool you with the bonus program, it doesn't justify the extra work. -Fourth con is environment. Management likes to pat themselves on the back at any opportunity. I can say for others that it felt demoralizing hearing those "accomplishments" when workload got tougher and tougher as the months went on with no real benefits seen by the employees. Hearing that we were bringing on a new client made most people fear the work ahead. -Fifth con is standards. There is always talk about change at any company that you work at. EasyIT likes to say things like dropping problematic clients, fixing processes that aren't well established and reorganizing internal workflows to better streamline things but that talk rarely came to fruition or doesn't end up as promised. -Sixth con is career path/team structure. Techs have one path and with the current structure of the team and you won't get out of that path as it currently stands.

Pros

Staff and management are arrogant but nice to your face. They have an awesome expresso machine... Great short term temporary job to use to jump in to a much better job.

Cons

Just to be aware - Systems Engineer = helpdesk Jockey. -Company policies are a overly complicated and changed with out notice. Documentation is a outdated scattered mess. Small business client Infrastructures are overly complicated not stable so Don't plan to sleep or have a life during afterhours oncall..... -Constant Micromanagement, high stress, improper expectations set by management. Management penalizes employees for stats and tickets with 0 tolerance. -Management is extremely combative and initial expectations are prohibitively high. 0 Job security unless your upper management, termination of employments can come at any time and with no notice, warning or explanation of reason.

Pros

Great coworkers, many learning opportunities, fairly generous benefits package, Kurt and Eric (owners) are nice guys.

Cons

Micromanagement, high stress, improper expectations set by management to client (often without discussion with tech), flip flopping on policies and penalizing employees for it. They frequently tout about the fantastic work culture they have cultivated, but many of the provided benefits are no longer being offered, or are being offered less and less. When you bring up issues, like being overworked, or bringing on new clients that the current staffing level can't handle, you're reassured that they are working on it, but it's pretty clear that it's falling on deaf ears. Laughing or talking while working is (passive aggressively) frowned upon. Anyone who leaves the company becomes an immediate scapegoat for any problems that occur for months after.

These statements are just puzzling as several of these statements don't make sense. We have worked hard to materially improve our benefits package (401k, health insurance, time off, etc) over the last few years and feel it is top notch. We have cut no benefits at all. In fact we increased our 401k match and significantly cut our employees out of pocket health insurance costs. We are growing quickly, but we have been regularly adding to staff and brought on some top notch team members to address our business growth. We are also promoting from within as we grow which has provided exceptional opportunities for our staff. We have a great time in the office (although many of us are remote under COVID) and there is constant laughter which makes us feel good about our team/culture. We certainly want our staff to laugh and enjoy each others company. Despite COVID, we recently had a party where we grilled steaks for our entire staff as we know that we all are missing physically seeing each other. If this is actually a current employee, please have a heart to heart with ownership to clear the air. We listen and we care.
