Optional work from home is available 2 days a week, but only with your manager's approval

Cons

Working at Edgematics is risky. You can be fired in one day without any notice pay if company does not need you. But if company needs you they will make you slog for 3 months and then withhold your salary arrears. There are no yearly salary increases. Sometimes you dont get a raise for years and if you do its only up to 5%. The joining bonus promised when you join can be withheld with no warning. There are very few benefits, and the ones you have can be removed anytime without notice. The company has 50 employees but only 10 parking spots, so most people have to find their own parking. Even then they force they're employees to come to office and work late. Even in bad weather female employees are forced to come to office. Senior managers are rude and create a bad work environment. Complaints against chief architect for misbehaving with women employees but no action was taken against him. It's very hard to get your relieving letters after you leave the company. Management keeps lying and makes false promises of onsite.

This company takes away your mental peace and mental stability Management is of a narcissist mentality No process no policy - they change as they wish daily People are randomly put in PIP always expect you to work after working hours everyday Disrespectful environment No work life balance The problem in this company is the CEO its top bottom Bad managers and their bad behaviour is entertained They cheat employees YES they also cheat clients, vendors - don't pay on time, deduct a 6 month old bonus paid out when you resign they find a way to make deductions in the FNF Biased behavior towards India employees and out of India employees - the Labour laws for India are not strong hence this company squeezes the living life out if one Favouritism is to a whole other level - Posh act is not respected employees have been forced to work in UAE and KSA on tourist visa when questioned they target you as "difficult employee"

Edgematics has all the cons of a small organization without any pros. 1. Complete unpredictability in processes. Any process or policy can change at any point of time without prior intimation. 2. Employees are required to spend on onsite travel from their own pocket. Reimbursement is often delayed - sometimes by 3 months or more. 3. Annual cycle is February - January but last year salary hike happened in August. This year it's July so far but there's no discussion around pay hikes. 4. Work is never ending and 12 hour days and 7 day weeks are common. I have never been able to take off without being called by my manager for work related matters. 5. Salaries are lower than market standard and management is quite stingy. Employees who have served 2 years are eligible for loyalty bonus but that loyalty bonus is taken away if the employee leaves even 6 months later. 6. There is rampant favoritism and the boss gives out of turn benefits and salary hikes to his favorites.
