Pros
Project is interesting on paper
Cons
Where to even begin. Integration is the bottom of the barrel here. You get all tasks nobody wants. Are you an expert in linux and virtualization? Here, enjoy writing a 200 page document nobody ever wrote about something nobody will ever read. Or how about working on Oracle or Networking instead? You are expected to know everything, and do everything, without complaining. Management is terrible, and i mean terrible. You are just a number to use, and if you fail at whetever obscure task they find, the emailing about you will begin. This company has an old mentality, from the 80's or 90's, and is ran by people that have been at the same department and job for decades. They have 0 people skills, dont understand the technical aspect of the job, are racist, sexist, seek to blame technicians at every chance, and still live in a time where a job was a grace given by the gods to very select few. Literal dinossaurs. They just dont understand that nowadays its very easy to just go somewhere else - and that is why nobody stays for long, so they hire many junior people and wear them down until they leave. Rinse and repeat.
