No IQAMA. Business visas only, which means a trip to Bahrain every month. If you're sick you get your wages docked, even if you have a doctor's note. Payment is in cash and there's no way of sending money out of the country. When we first arrived the director told the staff "Oh, just go online to get your IQAMAs" and "we can send money home for you." Neither of these things is true. In fact they don't even have a business bank account. Lies, lies and more lies. The man is like a used-car salesman. He will lose this contract at the end of the academic year (and who knows what happens to the teachers then?) and find something else for another year just to make money.

-You will be paid late...not a few days late, but weeks or even a month or two late. -The accommodations are terrible. If you take housing, don't be surprised if you have to move to a new location within 24-48 hours. -Little to no communication. -They do not honor their contracts and have cheated teachers out of hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, on their flight allowances. -There were teachers who did not receive their final settlements before they left the country and EduGuide promised they would pay them later via Bank transfer. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!
