      A company to avoid!

      Pros

      I have even working with an excellent team on the UK major rail project. I have had full autonomy, if only because I am the only Subject Matter Expert, working on no less than 14 separate discipline areas. It’s long hours and really hard work but enjoyable and drawing on my 40 years industry.

      Cons

      Eiffage won’t honour the terms of your employment contract. 7 months oftentimes no sort pension issues out and regardless of commitments made,it’s all just lip service! They have a much higher than normal attrition rate! No growth opportunity!. Really long hours and hard work.

      Pros

      Lots of hands-on experience in the heavy civil sector and exposure to multiple tasks related to different facets of civil engineering such as quality control, project management, and estimating.

      Cons

      Field schedule is rough, 5 weeks on the field with 1 week off. No social life while working for Eiffage and prepare for a high rate of turnovers from the field crew due to poor benefits from management, and favouritism between superintendents. The turnover and recurring staff training takes time away from technical duties, and hinders project progress.
