Pros

Manufacturer of high quality products

Cons

Just a warning to anyone considering employment with this manufacturer. Seldom does one find the level and depth of dishonesty and exploitation that exists within the top management of this company. The company's leadership (CEO and some at the VP level) are highly self-deluded individuals who display many of the traits found in text-book narcissists. The CEO has effectively created an atmosphere of highly subtle intimidation in which open discussion of necessary and standard business topics are suppressed. Here, as in Alice in Wonderland, “all ways are the queen’s ways”. When dealing with this highly dysfunctional individual, you get the distinct feeling that he believes he is operating in Charles Dickens’ London where the worker has no rights and should be grateful that “his lord” would even elect to acknowledge their existence. Strategic business decisions, at this company, are made based on neurotic fears and not on sound reasoning or principles. Management underlings are expected to fall into line with a cacophony of approvals and support. Only the fearful and sniveling can flourish under this type of leadership. Anyone with backbone soon finds they are not welcomed here. Combine all of the above with the outright deception and distortion of truth that is practiced and the result is a toxic employment environment. I would caution anyone considering employment with this company at management levels to look beyond the surface smiles and ask the hard questions. How these are answered will be very revealing.

Pros

Company has a good array of products.

Cons

Coercive Or Directive Style The coercive style is one of the least desirable leadership styles. This style is the hallmark of a top-down type of leader who squelches most new ideas before they even have a chance to be explored. This leader feels she knows best. Before long, people stop coming to her with new ideas. Flexibility and initiative are eroded, and people are demotivated. Some even become resentful and stop trying. As Goleman's research shows, people who work for this type of leader feel that their sense of responsibility has evaporated. "Unable to act on their own initiative, they lose their sense of ownership and feel little accountability for their performance," Goleman reports. This is a surefire way to stop your employees from giving you the best of what they have to offer. You never know how much your business stands to lose when you adopt this style.

Pros

The new managers coming in are great, HR, Quality, GM they want to bring company up to 21st century. GM and HR are very approachable, they spend time with employees, listen to what we have to say and try to make changes. Summer schedule is awesome, should do it year round. Other divisions have flexible schedules, we should too. Company gives a year end bonus to everyone to help out with Christmas, its great.

Cons

some need to lighten up. old school style isn't always the best. Company should have wifi access; no more ties very old school, let us wear jeans Not every department has the tools to do their jobs, company should spend money to make things better.
