Pros

Good place to meet start ups, but only a select few in the company have direct contact with the companies.

Cons

Lack of clarity and transparency. Poor management and fickle decision making. Extractive org culture especially when it comes to DEI and community. If you are a person of color I do not recommend working here.

Pros

If you want to see the best in class climate tech startups, this is a great place to be at the center of it. You get to see all kinds of great technologies and meet amazing founders. This is the biggest attraction to working at Elemental. Also the hours are reasonable, decent work-life balance, and aloha culture.

Cons

If you don't consider yourself an ace project manager or a star communications person, there really isn't a role for you here. People fall into those two buckets. Very little advancement, opportunity, or support for technical experts or people who bring a wealth of experience into the role. Ultimately this is a marketing firm and your success is determined by how well you manage projects or how well you market Elemental.
