Pros

Mostly great colleagues - united by sympathy.

Cons

The owner Mel Deacon doesn't have enough experience in the industry to actually run a successful business or provide clients with valuable PR advice. The agency is only just hanging on after losing all of it's most knowledgeable and valueable senior staff and most of its major national clients in the last four months. This is a direct result of the culture of fear ingrained by the owner, her lack of understanding of the industry and her unrealistic expectations on the capabilities of untrained junior staff. Mel will promise the world to unsuspecting PRs, only to either work you to the ground, fire you, or bully you in front of the entire team.

Pros

Friendly (ish) team of people, great at achieving results for clients.

Cons

Location (based in Cleveland - 50 minutes from City). Management have poor communications skills and don't inform junior staff of their expectations. Management treat junior staff poorly (yell at them in front of entire office for mistakes that are usually a result of their own poor communication in the first place). A culture of bulling employees to get results rather than supporting them.
