Pros

Always work to do. OT offered during peak season.

Cons

Not a lot of opportunities to move up. Still operated in warehouse during fire season and smoke was filling up the building.

Pros

Good experience to learn an industry that was a tight niche.

Cons

The pay was not up to par with the current industry. There was alot of high turnover rate. After the owners sold the company, it was all about numbers and quality was not important anymore. Alot of new people who are new didn't get proper training.

Pros

Honestly, the people there can be great, wprk invorment was semi relaxed, and has divesity. Has someone who has a degree, I had no experience other than what I learned in school. Basically this place is a great stepping stone to advance in your career path.

Cons

Well, this place ia by far the worse place, anyone with a degree could work for. When I got hired, H.R. said that after my 90 days they would give me a bump in pay. They failed to do so, when asked about it H.R. reaponded with "well that is not how we operate and it is not in the contract." They also said that there is room to grow, and that there plenty of money to be made in the elevator industry. Towards the end of my employment there I found out that it was all a lie. There is no room to grow, if they do move you to another department it will take a year or more to move you. In some cases more than 2 years. I was asked to go to tech support 9 months before I left, through all the confusion and frustration I kept pushing the issue. When ever I asked about the move all I got was a lack of communication between the upper management and my leads. Due to the lack of commitment that I was promised i left. Then comes the pay, I took this job because I needed experience and I didnt mind the pay due to other income. However, someone in the electronics field we know for Sacramento an entry level position pays around 18 to 21 an hour. This place 13 an hour, if you have over 5 years experience 14 an hour. Come to find out other departments starting out make 14 and 15 an hour that does not require a degree. This company makes millions of dollars but does nothing for their employees. While the upper management is making money, they do the bare minimum in terms of benifits, raises, and keep employees happy.
