Pros

There are not many other than a few smart, kind employees - but if theyre not being let go, theyre leaving

Cons

Worst C level team I’ve ever experienced. Every year they struggle to make their numbers so every Fall they have a big RIF. They try to spin it as “strategic” but no one there knows strategy - it’s just a dice game. The employees suffer for it as do the poor customers who tragically chose this platform. There is NO leadership. NO direction NO strategy NO product growth NO ability to manage platform development NO customer support for most of their users NO growth NO CRO (again - revolving door) What They do have is pretentious leaders, liars who use their employees as scapegoat horrible PE and Board, weak CEO, worse CFO and a CXO who spins crap into lace. It’s been a train wreck that you just can’t look away from….no diversity no inclusion no EEO - just a joke

Pros

Before the current leadership, employees were willing to help each other, but now it's each person trying to climb to the top. If leadership asks for your input, they will likely take it and run with it as their own, so be careful. Still, a few good employees around that will help you if needed, but most have left over the past two years.

Cons

The development team hasn't added new features to the core products in years. Their idea of a product update is to make the product roadmap that doesn't contain anything public to our customers. The development team spends time on projects the ELT has given them that yield little in return when they should listen to customers on what they need. As the company needs to catch up in the space, the sale team is told no discounts and to sell on value. I hate breaking the bad news; the value isn't there anymore. The company needs help with its identity of what they want to be; I recommend going back to what was working before this leadership team took over. The Virtual Coffee Chats are incredibly depressing as the executive team is all over the map with their comments and the company's direction. One minute you are worried about your job the next minute, the company is doing amazing things.

I really appreciate your candid feedback. It’s concerning to hear about your experience with some employees and your thoughts about our products. I'd encourage you to meet with me, your manager, and/or a member of our People Operations team to discuss any of these items further. At our most recent Virtual Coffee Chat, we shared a lot of details about our product roadmap and that we’ll be providing monthly updates. Emburse remains focused on delivering best-in-class expense management and spend optimization solutions and knows customers find value through their ability to eliminate administrative tasks, enable systematic controls, and uncover insights that impact their bottom line. Our leadership team also feels strongly that the product and growth strategy has been working, as evidenced by our ability to grow revenues by 22% in 2022 despite a difficult economic environment. Thank you for being here and sharing your thoughts with us. - Danielle Tabor, Chief People Officer
