Pros
Emerson Collective is a really glamorous, powerful organization. In your first few months, you will be blinded by the great perks, celebrity events and access to the most powerful people in the world. If you enter the organization in your dream role, consider yourself lucky. You might be able to rub the right shoulders, feel valued, and get a seat at the big kids table. For the 90% of people who are not in the family or LP's elite circle, be prepared for stormy waters. Its only a matter of time until you are sucked into toxic culture and family dysfunction.
Cons
This was by far the most toxic environment I ever worked in. My job destroyed my mental health as I was frequently bullied, sexually harrassed by my boss, and gaslit by my colleagues. I will likely be traumatized for the rest of my life from my experience here. Working among the rich and powerful was not enough especially if they treat you like an uneducated, low-class nobody. Every attempt to switch departments or advance professionally was met with anger and hostility. I didn't bother to ask for more compensation as their were no structures in place for that either. If you fit the Ivy League, wealthy, white prototype, you might enjoy your time in this exclusive club. If you are a minority, enter at your own risk, have an exit plan and a mental health professional on speed dial!
