Pros
I’ve been with AZIONE for just under 90 days after spending nearly 15 years at another PR agency, and I can confidently say that the transition has been energizing. AZIONE fosters a healthy, supportive, and empowering culture — one that values collaboration over competition and growth over ego. The co-founders, Leland and Michele, are two of the most strategic, connected, and hands-on leaders I’ve ever worked with. Their accessibility and leadership style set the tone for the entire agency — thoughtful, forward-thinking, and truly invested in the team’s success. Yes, agency life is busy, that’s the nature of PR, but what makes AZIONE stand out is how the workload is met with respect, transparency, and genuine support. After spending so long in a different environment, I can confidently say AZIONE is not a place where you’ll feel uncomfortable, overlooked, or caught in toxic dynamics. It's the opposite — refreshing, professional, and inspiring. If you're looking for an agency with strong leadership, real mentorship, and a culture that walks the talk, AZIONE is the place.
Cons
As with any agency, the workload can be fast-paced — but that’s standard for PR and not unique to AZIONE. The difference here is that leadership acknowledges it and actively supports the team. There’s also a learning curve when adapting to new systems and ways of working, but that’s expected with any new role. That said, the team is helpful, supportive, and encouraging every step of the way.
