Pros

There are 3 sets of reviews seen below 1. HR corporate speak that makes you roll your eyes 2. Disgruntled former employee(s?) who were likely let go, so now they sock-puppet the same message 3. Astute, insightful reviews Want an honest review? Here are the pros Strong salaries: only FAANG pays better Equity: Varies significantly between Commercial, Operations, R&D and the support functions (HR, IT, Legal), but is slightly above average Bonus: Until you get to the senior director level, it isn't that much, about average 401k: Below average ESPP: With the stock price so low, it's good to get 15% below the market World-class brilliant people in every department

Cons

Commercial team is underperforming and there don't seem to be consequences yet for the unqualified CCO HR demoralized everyone by arbitrarily deciding to restrict growth opportunities, but if you look around the company, some groups are seeing people get promoted 1-3 times in 18 months, while others have people not being promoted for 4 years Stock has gone from a peak of nearly 200 to barely 15 in 3-4 years Company hires slowly and fires quickly, with some groups questionably overstaffed and others strangely understaffed

Pros

Fast-paced environment with regular product updates to keep things fresh and interesting. 10x does a great job hiring high-quality candidates, so we have very strong teams, including managers. It makes it relatively easy to support products when customers are excited to bring them into their labs.

Cons

No standout complaints, though there are relatively slow promotion rates.

Pros

Lunch is provided, snacks and fruits.

Cons

The company culture does not appear to be very employee-focused. There is limited recognition or appreciation for employees’ contributions, which can make the work environment feel discouraging over time. Office politics also seem to be a factor, and employees may need to spend extra effort navigating internal dynamics rather than focusing purely on their work. The workload can be heavy, with long working hours and expectations that may not always feel balanced or sustainable. Overall, the environment may be challenging for someone who values respect, transparency, work-life balance, and a strong culture of appreciation.
