Pros
Some of the people that still work there are enjoyable, but they are weighed down by the politics, brown-nosing, and lack of proper processes and intelligent people. They try really hard to overcompensate with minimal perks to make up for the lack of everything else. So you do get some fun perks at times.
Cons
It’s a marketing company without a marketing team. As long as the current CEO, Jeff, is running the company, the company will continue to remain stale and operate as a one trick pony with no direction. They’ve been around 10 years and he won’t allow them to grow beyond the things that got the company on their feet originally. I recently left because the CEO laid off half the marketing team at the beginning of the year, and the remaining intelligent ones then quit. He said inappropriate things to multiple people on multiple occasions, because he is more concerned about looking good and being liked than he is making sure his company is running well. If he thinks you don't like him, he will fire you, lay you off, or micro-manage you to the point of you having no choice but to leave. He plays favorites and micro-manages everybody and it suffocates the people who are there to actually work. If he is removed from this role, there is potential and it may be a better place to work in the future.
