Pros
Year after year of focusing on sales and expansion, while ignoring people have started to have a negative impact on the company that can't be denied. They cut jobs year after year to the point they depleted employee morale and now people are leaving on their own accord.
The result is becoming more and more obvious. Quality talent is becoming more slim by the month. This is difficult technology, with many platforms and systems, you can't shop out the development and support of these systems. It takes years of experience to understand and work with it. When good quality talent leaves there are vacancies they just can't fill these days, or they fill it with people that aren't ideal (or experienced) for it resulting in further decline of the company.
That's where we are at with this whole company. You have an ever growing sales and business development team (also staffed by people not capable of their jobs in some cases), pushing products that are increasingly more unreliable, programmed and supported by teams that are declining in knowledge and experience.
I hate to be a doomsayer here but unless something is done to put people first, retain experienced talent and grow peoples moral, this company will be in trouble.
Cons
Many cons. Lower than industry standard salaries. Poor cost of living raises. Lackluster advancement and recognition of hard work. Zero company culture.
