I joined 3G a couple of months ago, and truly believe it is a prime time to join the company. Since joining I have had the pleasure of meeting and collaborating with employees across the organization that are driven, passionate, and talented. Not to mention full of laughter and comradery. We have managers that are engaged, family focused, customer driven and supportive. We have a leadership team that is making thoughtful changes to become an employer of choice and accelerate our product in the market. We are investing in employee programs, DEI focuses. Creating circles of innovation and idea generation. It is a great to be a part of this pivotal change
Cons
Currently we are hiring a lot of employees to build up the teams to support the workload. This is a great investment and much needed, but it takes time to get up to speed. There is a lot of work being done around culture. Employees are great about expressing areas we can improve, and we have an engaged management team that is listening and developing programs and process improvements to implement. For example, better benefits and cost sharing. We made changes for 2022 that invest in these improvements for our employees and their families. Time off, we had some generous policies, but in effort to be more equitable, we gave everyone 5 weeks PTO for 2022 regardless of level/time at the company. To be inclusive we are applying policies across the organization such as Parental leave for all at 4 weeks. There is more work being done and to be done, but I am positive that with the collaboration and support of the employees we can continue our journey to becoming an employer of choice.
