Simply put, there is no room for growth at 4moms. They encourage you to build your own career path, but they almost never promote from within and usually hire over people who deserve a chance to move up. They promise a one-month performance rehabilitation/probation period if you are in danger of losing you job, but I frequently watch them blindside employees by firing them with no notice and no real explanation. You absolutely cannot trust HR with anything as the information you give is often later used against you.
4moms is a young company with most employees in their early twenties-mid thirties and they promote a laid back and "fun" culture which often results in very unprofessional situations which would never be tolerated in a more corporate setting. They try to create an environment where people don't mind working long hours in the office - which is typically true, but those who would like to come in and work very hard for 8 hours and go home to their families instead of spending 10 hours casually chatting with friends and taking long lunch breaks are frowned upon. Having a lot of "face time" in the office matters far more than the work you are actually doing.
