Pros
Each franchise is pretty close-knit and like a family. The pay is fairly good and can usually be negotiated higher. Overtime is well-paid and easy to come by. Sometimes there are animals to play with!
Cons
You are expected to work a lot and throw yourself into your job for very little in return. There are no benefits for any employees and all employees are considered hourly even if they are full time. Hours are at any time for any reason and emergency calls are common. Working simply for the time you signed up for, like 40 hours a week, is considered slacking and just showing up for the paycheck.
