Pros

Free core benefits .There are none .You have IT people who don’t have technical skills .You have HR people who should be in philosophy jobs or teaching yoga instead of being true business leaders. You have finance people who don’t know what they are talking about. You have people who don’t know how to use the computer in analysis roles.

Cons

HR team sucks. Have you ever double check your paycheck and realized someone made a mistake from HR? Have you ever question confidentiality? There is none. There is no performance review system. If you dare have concerns about your manager, she or he will take your bonus away. Sexual harassments and discriminations lawsuits are about to happen left and right. Please hire smart people. Don’t just promote seniority people into roles they are not qualified for.

Pros

I worked on the Content Creation team which is primarily made up of contract employees. Work is remote, but plenty of opportunities to get together in office and meet other people and socialize afterwards. Everyone on the team is great to work with, there are efficient systems in place and it is a well-oiled machine! I've done two contract rounds with them and am looking forward to my next one.

Cons

No opportunities to convert from contract to staff. There are a lot of things that aren't available to contract employees that are only available to staff (certain meetings, resources, etc). Contract employees are limited to 18 months, and then are required to take a year off.

Pros

Some very nice people; had good benefits although those are being cut back because of financial uncertainty

Cons

Fading industry, frequent layoff cycles with hints of more to come, the company is trying to innovate but some divisions are slow to modernize other than throwing around silly talking points at meetings.
