Pros

In all honesty NONE, they had management change 3 times while I was there. The lady that hired me quit a week later. This place is burn and churn.

Cons

So many, first they don’t care about you at all, as a trainee in my first position in insurance they couldn’t give me proper training and then point at me for not knowing the complicated procedures they have in place. 2nd the environment was toxic my first manager was cool nice guy but didn’t like working much. The other dude in the office was a jerk apparently was demoted from previous manager. 3 months in they both get let go?? Smh, I was left there un properly trained, but you know what I still managed to do okay, the next manager was okay he helped me improve a little bit and I was working hard to try to get my commission up. Then they switched again a month Later and got the gossipy manager completely unprofessional. LET ME TELL YOU THIS, the underwriting department is ACTIVELY incentivized to find any little error in your applications so that you DONT get PAID for your sales. They say oh you can make $50 an hr if you work your commissions it but they are fronting, they don’t want you to win, I seen more senior agents get applications in with the same little error I might’ve had with no issue. Guess what else you one get 1 day to fix your error, or the company takes your commission what IS THAT?? I know many other companies that I have friends in they do not operate like this they give you an appropriate amount of time to fix your errors and actually want you to win. Especially when you’re focused on closing deals and you want to hit your target number for sales as a beginner agent it’s impossible with these people. They are toxic and gossip, immature people, even the VP. I know all the gossip. These people you do not want to work with. As A SALES representative they expect you to also do customer service because they cut out their customer service and now that’s our responsibility, even if it’s not your client. The CRM they use and processes they have allow people to easily steal your sales without any consequences, literally the Wild West. They have double standards and are overall not honorable or respectable. STAY AWAY - I know it sounds crazy but I’m being honest this isn’t even everything. I believe only a few people actually hit their commissions, most good people have left and found better jobs sooo many people continue to leave. They don’t care either they are mega corporate and only care about their bottom line.

Pros

Great company. Lot's of advancement opportunities. SALES people can earn money here - order takers maybe not a lot.

Cons

Expectations are high but with expectations comes $$ opportunities. I worked at another agency (like highway but starts with a FREE...) and expecations were also high but money wasnt there and I got tired of the president yelling at me,

Pros

Essentially what every job has: lunch and full time job.

Cons

No growth, no PTO, no 401K, no sick days and no maternity/paternity leave. Very micromanaged to the point it is overwhelming.
