Pros

I could share the standard wording all employees put on these things for pros .. "great perks" "great snack machine" "I like the air con"... But these are things companies usually put in place to shout about if they aren't quite what meets the eye. A2V has been on a journey of many lessons - and most management teams would shrug and say 'tough, not on us' but one things for sure - that is *not* how A2V works. Becks (our CEO) might shy away from me saying this - but she is a LEADER - she makes mistakes - listens to people who say she makes those mistakes/she works it out herself - and learns from them. It is vital to know that it is not all on a CEOs shoulders in this business. I have learnt the meaning of *team* since being here. So if you ask me what I think the pros of A2V are? the pros are that we turn the *cons* on it's head, smile and move on. (maybe fit in a cuppa or maccyDs while doing it too)

A2V Response

What a very kind review… and one I had to respond to. Often it’s easy to focus on the challenges, fails, and strong feelings - but I’m humbled and grateful for your supportive words. We truly have a great team with a big collective heart - and our culture is a testament to all of us; it’s definitely not defined by only me. We own it together - as we do the outcomes and the way we navigate the obstacles. You’re a credit to our business - and we are lucky that you are such an advocate for our success… thank you! Becks

Pros

• Majority of people are talented, hardworking and lovely to work with. • Flexi time

Cons

• Workloads are consistently very high, beyond what feels sustainable. Some people are regularly working 50+ hours just to keep up. • Expectations can be unclear or unrealistic given the volume of work • Lack of understating from senior management of the complexity of the work and what can realistically be achieved. • Performance management processes can feel inconsistent or poorly justified with limited support. • Culture can feel high-pressure, with limited consideration to mental health of staff. • There is a culture of favouritism lead by the CEO • Constant changing of priorities and people have job roles changed with little consultation.

Pros

Most people are lovely and hardworking and you unite in your teams under the pressure

Cons

Workload is intense and it isn't staffed to meet capacity. Perks aren't perks. Bonuses are promised but not paid. If your not in the in crowd, it can be pretty miserable. You get marked against if youre not prepared to work all the hours under the sun. Blame culture but behind your back not to your face. Impossibly high staff turnover
