Great Benefits - Travel Agent AAA The Auto Club Group Employee Review

Pros

Good Company values, great Corporation to work for. Excellent employee benefits, a lot of PTO is included and they match your 401k percentage. Access to a lot of programs/ vendors to book travel packages on and the AAA Membership is excellent for everyone, it includes unlimited access to Trip Tiks and Tourbooks and maps, passport photos, travel discounts and of course towing other car emergency services.

Cons

You are expected to maintain a company goal of commission sales to make your personal monthly commission payout, it is either all or none. Hourly pay rate is very low for the amount of necessary workload there is at this location, and pay increase is highly unlikely due to the membership sales you must reach. This branch was not fluid together, as each department is out for themselves and the assigned DDM is favored by the branch manager and made the location very uncomfortable to be at, basically it is a very hostile work environment to work at.

Pros

It’s close to my home. 401K match.

Cons

Low pay for what you are expected to accomplish on a daily basis. Pennsylvania AAA branches act as a messenger service for the DMV. Benefit cost is ridiculous. Training to be able to do what you expected to do is EXTENSIVE. We just had an awesome associate quit after only a few months. She started a career paying twice as much. A female heavy staff. I won’t elaborate. They reward you with food. I can assure you that no associate in my branch who benefits from cake, pizza and donuts. Tipping the scales with that assortment.
