Pros

The nurses are awesome to work with

Cons

Upper management seems to focus like a corporation overly concerned with the smallest of dress code violations. They would rather have a tiny piercing covered with a hideous looking band aid. They ignore complaints from peer employees about others neglected care, inability to be a team player, rudeness to patients and fellow employees. It seems a particular unit and possibly one other constantly have problems among the employees and other units work in harmony, however, management doesn't seem to do anything about the management

Pros

The pay is good. It's 8 hour shifts. Insurance is great. You did receive a discount if you had to be seen in the ER. If you worked holidays you got double time and a half. The new CEO (Nicole- glass door still has John Lewis listed on here. I don't recommend him but Nicole is great) is changing things for the better.

Cons

Schedule could be wonky. You could get off on Sunday at 7 am and be scheduled for 5 am Monday morning. The bounce back was rough. If someone calls off for the midnight shift and you know admissions but worked 3-11, you may have to stay til 7 am. There can be drama too.
