Pros
half day Fridays and cost shared benefits with low deductible.
Cons
The workload is astronomical! This place is the best exampled of overworked and underpaid.. I worked for them for a few years and in the beginning it was fine.. but then i realized not only was it a dead end job with no room for growth! I was promised 401K which was taken away four months into the assignment. Was guaranteed christmas bonuses.. but never received a FULL Christmas bonuse because "Finances werent where they needed to be" Bc the dr missed consecutives weeks due to being "sick" or travelling... did receive one cost of living bonus, which was very nice.. The Dr is kind and knowledgable, claims to care but in reality only cares about himself and his family - which he hires as employees.
However the manager there is an absolute joke!! He knows nothing of the medical field and can not help out when needed nor can he train new employees and makes it the responsibility of other employees who are already drowning in PAs, clinical documents, lab orders, lab results, refills/prescriptions and DME orders! Starting pay is roughly $13 per hour.. and raises are almost unheard of.. They try to convince you that their offices are the only place that offer the incentives that they do.. but they are 100% inaccurate. If your looking for a job for just some extra pocket change go for it.. just don't expect the wages to cover your monthly bills!
