Pros

The only positive was our Agio supervisor, who genuinely tried to help despite being stretched thin. She and our team endured constant mistreatment from the client, and Agio needs to hold them accountable.

Cons

My one-star review is directed at the client, not Agio. If you're considering the Control Room Operator position, stay away. The client treats Agio employees as expendable numbers rather than people. The on-site client supervisor is either absent or incompetent. He pretends to be friendly but retaliates if you offer constructive feedback, twisting your words to get you in trouble with Agio. The 12-hour shifts are unpredictable and constantly change. Despite promises of guaranteed days off, they are often taken away. This program started 6 months ago and the schedule has changed four to five times. Meanwhile, the client’s employees work only 4–6 hours a day, and show up when they want to (if they even show up), yet impose unfair double standards—what they do is acceptable, but if Agio employees do the same, it’s an issue. When the team reported serious concerns about the client supervisor’s behavior, Agio’s response was clear: “They’re our second-highest paying customer, so we need to keep them happy.” Employee well-being and valid complaints was dismissed entirely. The client supervisor even told a team member, “Fall in line or be fired. You have no power here.” The hostile environment extends beyond management. You cannot step away for emergencies or appointments, yet the client supervisor will work remotely, neglecting responsibilities under the excuse of supervising contractors conducting home repairs (an excuse he has used for roughly 4 months). During extreme weather, he pressures employees to come in, while the client conveniently "works" remotely. Agio employees are also forced into unsafe shift swaps with little to no notice, disrupting sleep schedules, and placing Agio Employee's in health and safety situations. The "unlimited PTO" is a scam—taking time off means burdening your team, making it feel impossible to use. Overall, this client has created a toxic work environment. If you value your time, health, and sanity, avoid this job.
