Horrible environment for the staff and the clients - Personal Care Assistant AME Community Services Employee Review

This was a horrible company to work for. The upper staff has no idea what is going on at the lower level. When I first started working for this company the house I worked at had mildew in the bathroom with the caulk around the tub falling off in large strips. The kitchen had mouse droppings and traps all over. I would often arrive to work to the smell of a dead mouse rotting somewhere in the walls. There was no sense of teamwork among many of the staff. One staff member in particular thought it was his job to inform on everyone in the house despite the fact he was committing the same acts he was informing about. The entire environment was negative and as a result the turn over is very large at this place. I would not work here or put someone I care about into one of their homes.
