Pros
In my opinion, the OverStitch product is great and fun to teach surgeons how to use. Very fulfilling from a professional and personal point of view. The LapBand product market is declining rapidly. The new Orbera product has potential for 1-2 years of great growth but requires experienced practice consulting to be effective long term.
Cons
In my opinion, the executive leadership has no sales experience and thus does not value sales. The current approach is to eliminate the higher salaries and commissions (which had been earned through hard work) and replace with less experienced individuals at half the pay and half the commission potential.
