Pros
Cool co-workers (lots of great personal style), beautiful products all made locally, good benefits package and fair holiday schedule.
Cons
I really wanted to like this company, but there are structural issues. The management is disorganized. The company acts like a start-up and is very scrappy, yet has been in business a decade. Everything appears very organized, but that is only because 2-3 people have all the responsibility, and they protectively guard that power. If something goes wrong, or not as planned, it is absolute chaos, yet could have been prevented had more people been brought into the loop prior. I don't want to use the term favoritism, because it isn't that per se, but there is an elitist-feeling hierarchy. There is no autonomy, everything/one is micromanaged and you will never know the reasons why you are asked/tasked to do something, often with little context or notice. The ones who run the company keep their cards held close and you are only informed of decisions that impact you after they have been made, without your input. Feedback is not appreciated. You either do it their way, or you can see yourself to the door. There is a level of near-deadly seriousness about how things are done.
