Pros
The company set up does provide some freedom as compared to other jobs. The micro management is at a minimum and the benefits are good. The employees (for the most part) are great people who are very hard working and will give a little extra to get the job done.
Cons
Almost all ARC's are still running with too small of a crew, making the overtime unbearable as it has become the norm. This industry is very fast paced and the turnaround times are short, so we're always running to get the orders completed on time. When you have to work overtime every day and on the weekends, it's just not enjoyable anymore and we're all getting completely burned out. There are no yearly raises (or reviews for that matter) which makes you wonder why anyone would actually keep working there. There are also people that don't do their jobs or help out the team environment, and they are tolerated instead of being dealt with.
