Total Scam! Don't waste your time. - Campaign Manager ATL Events Group Employee Review

Pros

Floor sales experience. Business to consumer. Product pitching.

Cons

Nothing about what they tell you in the interview is true. They advertise the position as a "marketing opportunity" but it is a flat out sales job. Your responsibilities include setting up displays in Sams club and Kroger and selling products that have previously gone bankrupt. The items you sell almost always get returned, and overall, you feel like a dishonest sales rep cheating people out of their money at the end of every day. There is NO honest communication. Upon hiring you'll find it's a very well built pyramid scheme. There is no sharing of information to newbies or "Phase 1" employees. "Phase 2" or "Campaign Managers" get together on conference calls every night and harshly critique their teams. It's a toxic, fake environment, and I'm stunned that people still take this job. Another red flag: No benefits, no time off, you work on weekends, and take conference calls on your day off. If you're not a workaholic robot that just listens and never challenges their system, then you won't fit in. VERY high turnover. People come and go weekly. You WILL be asked to go out of town and stay in a motel room to sell at Sams Clubs 2-3 hours away. It's horrendous. You make commission or minimum wage, NOT both. Before taking this job, ask your interviewer the hard questions and watch them divert the truth. Beware of this company and its products.
