Sales people have no idea how to sell anything except AV, which makes their sales model suffer. AVI-SPL tries to do services beyond AV but its a struggle, as sales gives away so much and with leaderships blessing.
Symphony their flagship service product is unstable and insecure, programming outsourced to Russia. Crashes and hangs constantly, development only engages when they feel like it, no processes, no documentation and a strong feeling of entitlement makes working with as desirabler as a root canal. Issues, bugs and outages are common, documentation and processes are non-existent.
CEO is still running the company and its growth is fairly stagnant. Benefits are minimal and pay raises/bonuses are only given to the corporate officers. So get your best salary on day one. Amazing the CEO is still the CEO given all the issues.
Not enough control from the investment company that owns them, this could be a GREAT company but the needed changes never get implemented.
