Pros
Great managers, understanding, and gracious. Millennial or millennial minded - They understand that life happens and you can work from home, an hotel during family emergency, or unusual hours. You can go to the doctor and pick up your kid from school without burning PTO. So long as you are productive and get your work done.
Cons
I wish there was incentive for us to do better. When you do well, you are rewarded… with more work and harder projects with nothing more than a “good job” email. There are no office perks like employee lunches, lunch n learns, even free coffee. How about a case of waters in the break room fridge? If you want to celebrate your birthday or a record breaking quarter, there’s no pizza party, not even logo branded swag. You get one polo shirt upon hire and need to buy every other employee branded gear (jacket, briefcase, PENS, Business cards) all out of pocket at ridiculous 200% margins. Sorry management, but a jacket from the company store with our logo does not cost $140. Also, health and other benefits absolutely stink. We need better health plans with lower deductibles and higher 401k contributions.
