Pros

Modern office City centre location Good work / life balance

Cons

The culture was deeply misogynistic, with a clear “boys’ club” atmosphere that made it obvious women were not taken seriously or encouraged to move into senior roles. Decisions were often made behind closed doors, and it felt like female employees were consistently sidelined or dismissed. There was also a strong culture of intimidation and belittling behaviour. Leadership (one owner in particular) frequently set the tone, and it created an environment where speaking up didn’t feel safe. Instead of fostering growth, collaboration, or basic respect, the environment rewarded those who joined in the bullying or kept quiet about it. Overall, it was quite a demoralising place to work and I would not recommend it to anyone who values professionalism, equity, or a supportive workplace.

Pros

Professional, hard-working team. Strong technical capability across the agency. Good focus on efficiency, systems and clear processes. Talented developers and technical specialists. Informal and pleasant working culture. Regular team nights out and events. Made a strong effort to maintain community during COVID lockdown. Good enough experience that I later hired AYKO as our Magento Agency when I went client side. Clear focus on improving how work is delivered. Strong project management team.

Cons

Like many agencies, the pace could be demanding at times. The strong focus on process and efficiency may not suit people who prefer a less structured environment.

Pros

Great central office location. Quarterly gift boxes are a nice touch.

Cons

*The culture felt really impersonal and unsupportive. Workload can be very intense with limited recognition for the level of output expected. The management style felt very very rigid, not much scope to share or implement your own ideas. * Management (especially senior) showed a complete lack of sensitivity to employees’ personal circumstances. The communication felt overly focused on performance rather than having any sort of care for their wellbeing. * Limited flexibility with working hours (e.g., little scope to start earlier and finish earlier) Those looking for flexibility, autonomy, or a more supportive culture will find it very challenging to work here.
