Good experience - Pharmacy Technician Abrams Royal Compounding Pharmacy Employee Review

Pay is overall decent. Learning is encouraged. Most co-workers are friendly (except 1 nit-picky family member who talks down to employees & rides "underlings" like a jockey because it makes her feel like she matters as much as the degreed owners & pharmacist managers). ^^^That family member bails from work often, luckily. Get to work directly with owner & his pharmacist offspring. Overall teamwork vibe. Decent hours & days. Pretty good at allowing if you need time off. Discounts on otc items & rx @ cost for employees. Caring environment by MOST. Most employees are long term.

Family drama DOES sometimes oppress the environment there. That 1 family member who "knows everything" yet is degreed in nothing that TRULY matters to the pharmacy is an arrogant dictator type that seems to get off on stepping on those not related to the Scarbroughs. Raises are rare & pittance amounts when compared to yearly rises in cost of living ratios.

Good co-workers. Potluck events. Decent hours.

No upward potential. You will seldom get raises. Family drama amongst owners and pettiness directed at employees by 1 particular family member.
