Pros
Can meet a lot of great people, and lots of opportunity to travel and visit beautiful venues. Can get a lot of work and go far if you have common sense and basic interpersonal skills (which a surprising amount of people don't...)
Cons
Little respect for you as an individual worker on shifts, have dealt with some awful managers forcing you to stay on your feet without breaks or food for full days (sometimes 18 hours)...while they sit around and eat.
Have to deal with clients who can often be difficult.
