Pros

None to mention. The opportunity looks great on paper but then reality quickly sets in!

Cons

Hired as a Contractor but treated more like an employee without any benefits whatsoever. With the new tax laws, it doesn't make sense to be an independent Contractor anymore. Expenses take months for reimbursement so you have to carry the balance on your personal credit card. The owner does this for a reason- to keep some of your cash hostage in case you don't perform. Commission checks are paid only when the client pays A2S which sometimes takes many months unless you go after the customer yourself to pay their debts. There is no support staff so you basically have to be legal, marketing, admin etc which takes up all your selling time. If the owner feels threatened, he is quick to sick his "lawyer" on you hoping that you will go away. There are plenty of other outsourced sales companies so I would choose any of them over this one!

Pros

They have an interesting business model and service offering

Cons

All employees are required to sign independent contractor agreement. Please review the contractor agreement with a help of a lawyer as it has many unenforceable clause. The employer will not hire you as employee to save on taxes and will force you to sign that agreement. The problem with that is if they lose the client that you are working on for any reason, they will not even pay your salary and immediately terminate your contract. They once sued one of their employees for $100k in superior court because they lost a client and as per contract hold employee responsible. Later the employee told me that they went to court just to make sure they don't have to pay unpaid salary and severance package. Best is to seek legal advice before signing the contract. I had to go to small claims court to get my salary, commissions and unpaid expenses.

Pros

Working in the call center allows me to learn about various industries and verticals. I wouldn’t get this exposure anywhere else. I like the flexible schedule based on the time zone of the campaign. Management is helpful and understanding. Bonuses are great!

Cons

Some people feel it’s too fast paced for them. Not me though.
