Pros
You can screw around all day because nobody there cares what you do. Which is utterly ridiculous but hey. It's an upside I suppose.
Cons
Where do I start? Stagnant wages, which start off as lower than the industry averages anyhow, management barking orders and treating employees like garbage, and being made to feel like you are utterly worthless. When it comes to the other employees, there are many that are truly passionate and care for the company. They get beaten on by the owner and management. Plus, aside from those few employees, the entire place will stab you in the back if they get the opportunity. The entire shop is a bunch of two-faced liars. They go from being friendly to your face to insulting you beyond comprehension behind your back. The owners think everyone who walks in there can be replaced instantly, yet they replaced a manager several months after he retired with someone who has zero experience in the wire industry. They also haven't replaced the salesperson who wrote one of the other reviews. And if they do, it will probably be someone who has no idea what they are doing. The rules also only apply to whomever management feels like they should. What I mean by that is that some people can stand around talking to one another all day, while others get yelled at if they stop working for a few moments. The safety standards in this place are non-existent. They do not care if employees get hurt, and if they do they will tell the employee that the injury was no sustained on the job. You also cannot put in an advanced notice when you want to leave the company, you essentially have to quit. They will just fire you if you do put in a notice. In summation: poor wages, incompetent management, ownership that is only out for themselves, hazardous work environment, and no coworker companionship. Never work here.
