Cons
This organization adopts a cutthroat approach, firmly adhering to a hire-and-fire model. Prospective employees seeking a workplace devoid of proper onboarding guidance would find this company fitting. The team leads lack adequate training, leaving them clueless about their responsibilities. Townhall meetings serve as platforms for public shaming, fostering a hostile environment. Even the reviews on Glassdoor appear dubious, with suspicions that management fabricates positive feedback to artificially boost their rating. The company seems oblivious to its pervasive issues, and its reputation has deteriorated steadily over the past five years. The commission scheme is not just flawed but outright atrocious. Fortunately, I made the wise decision to depart early. The management's focus on CV counts without providing clear direction or business strategies has led to an exodus of past consultants. Regrettably, it appears that this dysfunctional status quo is set to persist indefinitely. Engaging with colleagues may prove futile, as the high turnover rate means they might not be around for long. The company town-hall meetings take an uncomfortable turn as the CEO insists on a collective prayer and singing of Christian songs. As a non-Christian, this practice creates a sense of unease and discomfort. The management structure is virtually non-existent, with team leaders having no authority to make decisions. The CEO and lady boss dictate company policies unilaterally, making their words equivalent to company law. The lady boss openly expresses a lack of trust in team leads, emphasizing a reliance on numbers rather than leadership. This raises questions about the purpose of having team leads if their role is undermined in this manner. The HR department, led by an unengaged HR auntie, appears disinterested in any new initiatives or changes. The overall HR/Admin team seems to follow a similar pattern, making it advisable to think twice before considering joining this company.
