Pros

- Remote work from Europe - Flexibility for working hours

Cons

- There is no real workflow or established methodology. Work is approached as if everything were extremely urgent—even when it's not—which inevitably leads to mistakes and redundancies across projects. - Micromanagement is an issue. Some product managers lack technical skills and tend to compensate by excessively controlling your work, which wastes time for both you and your collaborators. - Senior leadership often lacks a clear understanding of the product being developed and tends to make vague, generic statements about the development process.

Pros

Had a close group of people on my team and regardless of being international - had a small business mentality and ability to grow strong relationships.

Cons

Like any business, not everyone gets along perfectly, Due to large group, you can usually find people similar to your interests.

Pros

Lots of great people in the trenches Fully remote Very generous PTO and other benefits

Cons

No raise in salary in the 2+ years that I was employed, despite the fact that I hadn't had a raise at my previous company (which was acquired by Acolad in 2023) since 2019. I was told that the "senior" title (and commensurate salary) that I brought from my previous employer were not warranted by my responsibilities, so I was effectively frozen at that salary until some unspecified point in the future. Rather than make use of my 15+ years of experience in the industry they clearly saw me as an expensive and expendable holdover.
