Pros
My direct manager is supportive in all the ways that matter, she's authentic, sincere, and pragmatic. They were transparent about everything from the beginning, which is appreciated. The work environment is welcoming in a sincere way and does not have a stuffy corporate feel like most other larger HOA management companies in the region. It seems like there is room for growth within the company.
Cons
No great work-life balance, but that's an industry-wide issue. Better transitioning for new associations, especially with accounting. My newly assigned staff accountant is amazing, but his upper managers could've done a lot better at streamlining the transition from the prior management system to Action's system. Seems like they're understaffed. The assistants need more training, or they should have assistant community manager positions where the assistants strive to become well-versed in everything HOA instead of simple administrative tasks only. This would help promote them to managers over time. It would also be great to have monetary bonus incentives through the company and not just reliant on the Board/association.
