      Pros

      Good camaraderie amongst the people you are working with and some of the candidates and causes are worthwhile. If you put your mind to it you can learn how the political media process functions.

      Cons

      ZERO work/life balance. Forget about any and all obligations you have outside of work. Weekends, yeah forget about them, they don't exist when you work at AL. The lack of proper structure and respect for employees time and needs conflicts with some of the candidates and causes that are being represented.

      - Amazing staff who each have unique political experience - Are willing to give you interesting work if you prove yourself - Willing to sit down with you and give you interesting advice

      Cons

      - From what I could tell, work/life balance during election season was nonexistent but it's politics what do you expect? - Stressful environment that can be tough for some to handle.
