First shift is 5a-1330. Most of the floor associates are good people. The facility is mostly climate controlled and kept in well enough shape

Automatic lunch deduction Strict points based demerit system (their system invites employees to come to work sick or face termination). Lack of communication. Not a whole lot is thought out in advance. You are scheduled for 40 hours and don't find out if you have to work weekends until Thursday. When management does communicate to "the group" it tends to be more of "you suck" than praise, coaching or, you know, actual leadership. Their safety culture is toxic enough to where their employees are scared to report incidents, and they are pushed to bodily injury. They have next to no knowledge on how to evaluate the hazards of the job they are doing. Their confined space entry program is a joke. If anyone ever goes down in one of their confined spaces they are gonna end up with a body retrieval rather than a rescue. Their lock out program also leaves a lot to be desired. Its overly complicated and severely unsafe. Lockout training hasn't been done or updated since 2018. The hr team runs the plant. Nothing is done without their approval. During my time there I heard managers speak more about writing people up or firing them than I did them giving folks praise. The plant has been open for 12 years. It's been adient for like 5. The ehs manager has been in place for two years. In two months I had created the necessary checklists to get their waste water and storm water permits into compliance. Prior to thst they didnt exist. His position is a stepping stone into higher management which is dangerous in and of itself. Do not expect empathy or compassion at this place. Itll suck your soul dry.
