Pros
Most individual contributors outside of management were great to work with. If they could get a star rating, it would be 4 stars.
Cons
The environment was incredibly toxic from the top down. The CEO would often have outbursts of anger over situations that didn’t meet expectations, clients leaving, or any negative impacts to the business beyond the company’s control. Respect for employees from management was nearly absent in service of pleasing the CEO. Additionally, and worst of all, working for the company resulted in a negative perception in the market that made career movement outside of the company incredibly difficult due to this connection to leadership. Company culture was toxic and negative overall. Benefits and compensation when compared to the stress of working for the company were grossly below expectations. Time off was not respected. Work-life balance did not exist. No job security (every person is one anger fueled CEO rant away from getting fired regardless of performance)
