Pros
Many employees worked for Advantage for YEARS, back in the days when it was TAC. When they were TAC, they treated employees like family... we all knew each other, respected each other, had fun with each other. We all knew we were never going to get rich there but we busted our butts for the company because the company truly cared about us. The Balsamo family built a great company and Sal made sure that everyone, no matter what level they were, were treated with equal respect. It wasn't an easy place to work... we were really busy without a lot of resources, but we truly cared about everything and everyone.
Cons
When Advantage took over, they turned this family oriented business into nothing but a corporate machine where everyone is treated like nothing more than a number. I watched people that were there for over 20 years, get pushed out. These are people that broke their backs for this company... these folks were their best evangelists and the people that cared about the company and it's people than they ever knew. They didn't care... this wasn't about being happy at work... this wasn't about liking what you do... this isn't about caring about people any more. It's about unrealistic expectations, numbers and the bottom line. It's really sad what has happened to this company.
