Pros
🔹It was an opportunity of a really steep learning curve - takes great amount of effort and hard work that is necessary to acquire great amount of knowledge and skills in engineering. Real engineering project is given thus every day is a challenging day. On point with the objective of an internship to learn as much as possible even if it's just in a short duration of time. 🔹 I had the privilege of learning directly from one of the best, highly reputable engineer mastering in many fields - chip design, embedded system, web application, the list goes on... 🔹Flexible hours and attire. 🔹Internship allowance given. And, its more than the average. 🔹Occasional lunch and movies together. Talks are always fruitful and interesting! 🔹Great companies of colleagues with interesting backgrounds. 🔹Convenient location - near LRT and has free car park nearby. 🔹Pantry is available to make tea or coffee. 🔹 I truly enjoyed having my internship here, eventhough it was only 6 months of my life it was definitely an unforgettable one!
Cons
🔹It is quite overwhelming at the beginning because everything seems new and foreign but it definitely gets better as you learn more. 🔹Guidance are given but the work progress are based on our abilities, so if we can't catch up fast our work performance are certainly affected thus we can't contribute as much. 🔹 High expectations to meet and heavy workload that requires critical thinking can be quite pressuring, but as the saying goes, a diamond is just a piece of coal without a whole lot of pressure!
