Truly no cons, except you have to have a good attitude to work for hospice.

Unprofessional behavior. Work life balance is terrible. I was offered bonus pay due to my excellent performance one day and 1 month later terminated without warning after I complained about the on call requirements and the lack of communication from management resulting in poor patient outcomes. This was obvious retaliation with no previous infractions or write ups. Management changes often resulting in inconsistent policies and procedures. Management has shown a blatant disregard for Medicare policies regarding admission requirements and pressuring nurses to risk their license in order to grow the census. They were rude and manipulative when they decided to get rid of me after months of being told how great I was for them.
