Pros
Company appears fiscally sound. Good and easily accessible location. Showroom and workspaces are nice. Accessible tech-support should you have computer issues.
Cons
Had I known about this site before taking a position at Age Group, I would have had a painfully accurate representation of what to expect based on the negative reviews already written. At the heart what's wrong here is not only management that's difficult to deal with and ineffective at directing and guiding employees but also the absence of any sort of structured design process or development calendar. I lacked basic information (seasonal line plans, assortment strategies, useful design direction) needed to successfully build a cohesive line. The response to my suggesting a need for these things and offer to improve/formalize processes garnered an annoyed response from my boss, "Why are you wasting my time? That's for YOU to figure out. Just do the work." End of conversation. It's no wonder there's so many loud heated arguments! Without any clear processes in place and limited cross-functional communication, everyone and no-one becomes accountable when issues arise- making finger-pointing and arguing a common routine. A very unsupportive place to work with an unwillingness to change.
