People are not stupid you know. Everyone was aware we were going to be redundant and not expected to get paid for the last month in the company, but for some reason, the managers were continuing the facade. As if that wasn't enough, when it was official, the company was closing down, and the CEO couldn't even bother to come to the site and tell everyone. Instead, we had a "meeting", and she was away. It's a shame. Some people invested their time for over a decade, and what did they get in return? Nothing.
