Pros
Nothing to brag about. Not good
Cons
Toxic Startup Culture: Is it worth it for the 'experience'? I'm currently in a startup that's really testing my limits. The work culture is just toxic - it feels like there's a lot of preferential treatment for those close to the leadership, and projects are allocated randomly without any thought to skill sets. Collaboration is non-existent, and it's all about politics and nitpicking. Honestly, there's nothing positive to share right now; it feels like the company needs a drastic restructuring to even begin improving. It makes me wonder if the 'startup experience' is always like this, or if I just landed in a particularly bad one. Has anyone else dealt with such a rude and political environment in a startup? How did you cope or decide to move on?
