Pros
New CEO is trying to drive change. Shift pattern allows plenty of time off. Pay is good for equivalent jobs in the area. Bonus scheme is good. Role is challenging, largely goes unnoticed until there is a problem, but enjoyable. Realisation from some teams that the primary, external shareholders are more problematic than previously thought.
Cons
Refusal to admit that some employees are not up to the job. Good workers penalised by being given more work. Poor workers not sanctioned or disciplined. Management is very cliquey, communication is appalling, seems to stop at management level then we pick up rumours. Company has brought in an external company to look at changes, all suggestions have previously come from the shop floor but been ignored. Now the suggestions are being accepted, but at a cost to the company . No room to progress in the company due to staffing levels.
